Project Heaviside By Kitty Hawk – It’s 100x Quieter Than A Traditional Helicopter
Project Heaviside the latest high-performance electric vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicle in Kitty Hawk‘s impressive lineup. It is designed to be fast, small and exceedingly quiet, taking advantage of new possibilities to free people from traffic. It is the third vehicle in Kitty Hawk’s electric aircraft line-up.
The system is fairly small in size. To take off, it uses a total of eight rotors, two on the cabin and six on wings. It is also said to have a maximum range of 160 kilometers. The Heaviside vehicle is roughly 100 times quieter than a regular helicopter.
