“Drone service providers capture hundreds and thousands of images and utilize processing software like Pix4D & Drone Deploy to generate highly detailed geo-referenced orthomosaics imagery,” Tran continued. “The challenge is the high degree of difficulty of delivering these orthomosaics to the end-user and clients. Many of these specialized tools do not allow users to easily perform required analysis such as overlaying the orthomosaics on a map or comparing multiple orthomosaics over time to see changes. This means that clients and stakeholders do not get the full benefit of the data.”
