Pilotless drones are continuing to gain prominence in the commercial drone industry – and the business community. Leading automated drone company Airobotics was honored among the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Israel in Fast Company‘s world’s Most Innovative Companies ranking this year.
Airobotics has been a major name in the drone industry, introducing a number of “world’s firsts,” winning innovation awards, and demonstrating their fully automated drone solution at shows and expos around the world. Working closely throughout the development cycle with regulatory authorities, the company was able to receive the world’s first regulatory certification to perform fully automated drone flights without a human pilot by the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority.
The Airobotics solution allows for industrial drones to fly pre-programmed routes continuously or on-demand without pilot intervention, launching and landing from a docking station equipped with robotic arm for payload and battery exchange. The precision flight – accurate to 1 cm – makes the solution viable for a wide variety of industrial and military uses.
